The beginnings of PROMEDIS date back to 1998. At that time, the specialist medical outpatient clinic was established – the Medical Rehabilitation Centre in Wrocław, which started its operations as a supported employment enterprise’s on-site facility. Owing to this fact, the company, later known as PROMEDIS, gained particular experience in taking care of disabled employees and, at the same time, in analyzing and launching the best solutions in the field of workplace ergonomics.

In the first couple of years of company’s activity, the brand became especially well known in south-western Poland, as the greatest number of PROMEDIS facilities have operated in this particular region.

Today, 9 medical centres branded by the distinctive logo with the Rod of Asclepius operate, which are located in Poland’s biggest cities (Warsaw, Krakow, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk) and render a full range of diagnostic and outpatient services for more than 62.000 corporate patients.

In its history, PROMEDIS has been distinguished many times for its particular commitment to rendering professional care to its Patients, e.g. with the “Customer Friendly Company” award (“Firma Przyjazna Klientowi”), as well as the “Approved Partner” title. Of special importance is the silver medal in the “Icebreakers” (“Lodołamacze”) competition awarded for the company’s activity in the field of occupational and social rehabilitation of disabled persons.
In January 2009, PROMENIS became a part of the LUX MED Group – the biggest private healthcare network in Poland, associating such brands, as: LUX MED, CM LIM and Medycyna Rodzinna.
