Occupational Medicine

Pursuant to the Occupational Medicine Act of 27 June 1997, as amended, the employer is obligated to ensure preventive medical care for its employees. The health care benefits should be provided under an agreement concluded between the employer and the authorised medical facility.

PROMEDIS offers its Clients the coordination of occupational medicine actions undertaken for the whole company, with a specially appointed Occupational Medicine Assistant supervising their effective performance. The Assistant is responsible for the organisation of cooperation between PROMEDIS and the company representatives, to ensure that all the activities in the scope of occupational medicine are tailored to the individual needs of our Clients. We have also created a separate hotline dedicated specifically to occupational medicine. It may be used by our Clients to obtain information on occupational medicine as well as make appointments for examinations. In addition, we provide monitoring of the issued certificates’ validity as part of the offer.

Apart form the standard examinations and tests carried out within the scope of occupational medicine services, we offer our Clients the performance of an analysis of the employee health status and the potential threats and hazards present in the workplace. Based on the received requests, we also prepare an offer for preventive schemes to be executed in cooperation with the employers. In addition, our experts may perform an in-depth analysis of individual workstations and suggest changes that may improve their ergonomics and thus reduce the exposure to detrimental occupational factors.
